NYC is a cultural organization as well as an Adventist lay ministry, meaningit supports the aims and philosophy of  beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In addition to our main foundation that is the Word of God, we want to present the writings of Ellen White, messenger of the Lord, as complementary auxiliary texts and always subordinate to the light of the Bible, together with articles or scientific studies that provide greater understanding, in the face of the poor and difficult moment that our current society lives regarding to the knowledge of God and of Creation.

The main reason that led us to create our association was the poor spreading that the issues concerning creationism have had for years, in different circles. For a long time, as creationists we have got defensive, always one step behind, “responding” to the bold claims of evolutionism. And that is not because of a lack for good scientists, there have been and still are, and they have given answers to different questions that have been brought up, however those have been rather aimed at people already trained on that matter. They have produced good literature and articles of high level, but not too informational. There have hardly been any works that are available to children and young people at different ages, that can teach them from the beginning and that are also attractive. There is very little literature tailored to their brain and their academic training. On the other hand, there are not enough biblical studies on the Theology of Creation and, in addition, some postulates or concepts with an evolutionary origin have been introduced and accepted in our ranks, in order to “scientifically” explain theological aspects, instead of having a better study of the Bible and Nature. To all this, we can add that the extraordinary and clarifying descriptions of the Spirit of Prophecy have been usedin very few occasions. This topic has almost disappeared from our specialized articles published in our media. And the fact is that by the time our children reach an age when they can understand our scientific texts, other ideas that have been implanted over the years in a subtle and pleasant way are already “formed” in their minds, because they have not had the answers they needed in time. We came late. We have lost them.

Given these clear shortcomings, in NYC we work with enthusiasm to do our bit in the dissemination of the creationist model of Nature, using the technological advances that we are fortunate to have today at our reach. We are developing different current formats, aimed at different age levels, whose presentation can be as attractive as possible, which contain the maximum scientific rigor and updated knowledge. The final objective of our work is the presentation of the origin and development of Nature, from a balanced biblical creationist perspective and with a discussion of the evolutionary theory, which can facilitate the work of parents, educators and leaders of religious communities.

In this era of dominant secularism in the world, in NYC we believe that as children of God we are called to be witnesses of Him, proclaiming the fundamental message that He is the only Creator and Designer of our Nature, who sustains it with His power, as well as our Redeemer and Savior. And that is why we owe him praise (Revelation 14: 7), a fact that manifests itself specially on the Sabbath, the day that He created expressly for us and as a monument of Creation. The rigorous study of Nature, in the light of the Word of God, will guide us to a greater understanding of the Truth of our origins: A Nature Created by God.

“Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.” (Psalm 100: 3)

In our association, we have the doors open for anyone who wants to collaborate and enjoy with us in this work that we are carrying through. With the help of our God, together we can make every dream we set our minds to a reality.
